Tanya Jones-Awolusi, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker with a thriving group practice and Life Coaching Business. Her practice, Butterfly Effect Counseling and Consulting LLC, has been open since 2017 and currently has five black female therapists. Flutter of Change Coaching LLC is her new life coaching business that strives to highlight Tanya’s love for God and mental health wellness. Tanya is also the owner of an online retail store, The Therapy Corner Shop. She brings to life, therapeutic statements, and funny comments, on mugs, t-shirts, and more.
Tanya holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Kean University and is licensed by the New Jersey Board of Social Workers to conduct therapy sessions. She holds a Biblical Counseling diploma from Light University and balances it all out while being married to her husband Michael Awolusi with a blended family of four children. In addition to her group practice, coaching business, and retail store, Mrs. Jones-Awolusi has held several talks dealing with depression, anxiety, and fear, and centers her private practice on overcoming these challenges using several proven modalities. She specializes in working with women but has experience with therapy sessions featuring men, children, couples, and groups.
